How to: Apply a style to text.
Solution:
Use the 'Style' drop-down list box or the 'Style...' command under the 'Format' menu to apply a previously defined style to selected text.
1) Select the paragraph to be formatted.
2) Do one of the following:
a) Use the 'Style' drop-down list box on the Formatting toolbar to apply a style:
1] Click down arrow button on the 'Style' drop-down list box to view the available styles.
2] Select the desired style.
b) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Style...' to apply a style:
1] Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Style...'. (The Style dialog box appears.)
2] Select the desired style from the 'Styles' list box.
3] Click down arrow button and select 'All Styles' from the drop-down list box.
NOTE: If the desired style does not appear in the 'Styles' list box, change the value of the 'List' drop-down list box. Click down arrow button. Select 'All Styles'. The 'Styles' list box now lists all of the available styles.
4] Click 'Apply'. (The selected text appears with the formatting features defined in the style.)
